The Friendly Fridge Foundation is the Bronx's first community fridge and food hub, rescuing and redistributing over 70,000 pounds of healthy produce and prepared meals monthly to combat food insecurity and reduce food waste. Founded in May 2020, it partners with local organizations to create a hyper-local ecosystem of food rescue and community care.
