Carroll Electric Membership Cooperative (Carroll EMC) has been providing low-cost, safe, and reliable electricity to western Georgia since 1936. As a not-for-profit cooperative owned by its members, Carroll EMC serves over 56,000 meters across Carroll, Haralson, Heard, Paulding, Polk, Troup, and Floyd counties. The cooperative maintains extensive infrastructure including over 5,500 miles of line and 25 distribution substations, delivering more than 1 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. Carroll EMC is committed to operating at the lowest possible cost for its members while supporting community initiatives and sustainable energy programs.
