Sustainable Lumber Company

Handcrafted in the mountains of Montana, Sustainable Lumber Co. produces wood flooring, wall paneling, and ceiling boards made from reclaimed, salvaged, recycled, and sustainably sourced timber. The company’s millwork plant operates within a small rural Mennonite community, where eleven families work side by side to create its product lines, including options like rustic white oak cladding, beetle kill pine, and Montana-grown spruce. Sustainable Lumber Co. supplies projects of every size across the country, from DIY renovations and cabin builds to custom homes, resort communities, restaurants, commercial developments, and state and federal parks. Selling directly from the mill means customers work with the people who make the product, and orders ship factory-direct anywhere in the continental U.S. The company describes its values as Montana integrity: careful craftsmanship, honest business practices, and responsible use of natural resources. Samples can be ordered online, and the sales showroom at 2935 Stockyard Rd, Unit L-1, Missoula, MT 59808 is open by appointment. Call (406) 642-7120 to get started.
